Elected Board Positions (*These positions require attendance at general and board meetings):

President*: Presides over the club, its officers and committee chairpersons at all functions including general and board meetings (Prerequisite: must have been a board member at least one year to run for this office)

1st Vice President*: Takes over for President in her absence and is in charge of the programs for the general meetings (should have been a board member for one year)

2nd Vice President*: In charge of membership, contacting new and perspective moms (should have been a board member for one year)

Secretary*: Keeps the minutes to all general and board meetings, submitting copies to President and Editor

Treasurer*: Takes care of all financial records for the club, issues checks, collects dues and prepares annual budget (financial or accounting background is a plus)

State Representative: Our liaison to the Wisconsin Organization of Mothers of Twins Club, attending Spring Meeting, Fall Convention and board meetings.

Ways and Means Chairperson: In charge of all club fundraising including annual flower sale

Librarian: Maintains and displays (at general meetings) the club library

Editor: Collects and edits articles and other material for club’s monthly newsletter

Publisher: Prints and mails/emails the newsletter (works closely with Editor)

Appointed Positions:

Chaplain: Gives a short “Thought of the Month” at general meetings and submits one for the newsletter

Historian: Takes/collects and maintains pictures and other records of club events

Publicity Chairperson: Sends notices to the newspaper about our meetings and events and distributes booklets to hospitals

Philanthropic Chairperson: Helps determine the annual charity projects and carry them out

Hospitality Chairperson: Helps greet members and guests at meetings

Telephone Chairperson: Calls all members through a phone chain at the direction of the President

Refreshment Chairperson: Coordinates refreshments for general meetings

Picnic Chairperson: Coordinates and runs the annual family picnic in summer

Children’s Party Chairperson: Coordinates and runs the annual children’s party in spring

Clothing Sale Chairperson: Coordinates and runs the semi-annual clothing sales
